Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland, is an actress and model. Alison Doody made her feature film debut as a Bond girl on the set of A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she was in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. She played Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Other roles include Siobhan Donavan on the film A Prayer for the Dying (1987) Charlotte in Taffin (1988) and Rebecca Flannery in Major League II (1994). Doody was first introduced to modeling when she was invited by a professional photographer. The result was an impressive modeling career in the commercial world. Doody was extremely determined not to do glamorous or sexually explicit work. The rule was extended to her acting career. After being spotted by to the director of casting for an upcoming James Bond film she accepted a small part as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody was named one of the top twelve promising young actors in 1986 by John Willis Screen World. 38. Doody was only 18 at the time of her first appearance in the Bond character. To date, she is the youngest Bond girl. Another film from her early days had her in a minor role as IRA Siobhan Doovan, a member of the IRA in A Prayer for the Dying (1987) in which she featured Mickey Rourke. Doody played Archibald Craven's wife Lilias In his dream in 1987's television adaptation The Secret Garden. In a Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, Doody portrayed Sapsorrow alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. In the following film, she played her most memorable role to date as Austrian Nazisympathiser and Archaeologist The doctor. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. Doody appeared alongside Sean Connery in the film and played the role of her father in the film. Doody played alongside Jonathan Pryce as Hitler Diaries the British mini-series based on Hitler Diaries. Doody then relocated to Hollywood. Chosen to replace Cybill Shepherd as spokeswoman for L'Oreal She went on to appear alongside Charlie Sheen in 1994's Major League II in the role of Flannery his girlfriend and agent. Doody was part of the 2003 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine was her character in a celebration for an award. in 2004, Doody starred alongside Patrick Swayze alongside a TV version to King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was as a character in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), a pamphlet describing the Holocaust. In 2010 Doody was a character of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Doody appeared on RTE's the medical thriller The Clinic. The project was later shelved. Pam Jefferson, the character she played on E4's comedy Beaver Falls during its first season of two years. The following year, she starred as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. Almeria the tierra de cinema award as well as an Almeria Walk of Fame star were awarded on November 21st, 2018.
