Kelly Nash grew up in Davie, Florida a city situated outside Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Kelly Nash grew up boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash and Carolyn Nash are her two sisters. Kelly Nash is of English, Irish, Swedish, and Portuguese Ethnic group. Her great-grandfather immigrated into the United States from Portugal.



 Kelly Nash was a huge fan of the Miami Marlins since she was young. Although she was a huge sports fan from an early age she always dreamed of becoming an anchor for a newscast. In the year 2006, Kelly Nash graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies. In 2009 she graduated from Clemson University with a Master's degree in Youth Development Leadership. She had received a full athletic scholarship from the Clemson Athletic Department in exchange for covering their Baseball and soccer teams in the Sports information Department Career



 Kelly Nash, a MLB Network studio host, is featured on multiple shows which include Quick Pitch, the nightly highlights show. She is also an NHL Network Studio host, appearing on the Nightly Game recap Show, On The Fly. She joined the MLB Network in March 2015 and Began Contributing to the NHL Network in 2015 when NHL Network's on-air operations became based out of the MLB Network's headquarters.
